JLR Productions was started to provide recording facilities for the professional musician, as well as the up and coming bands, singers, songwriters and companies who need music and jingles for their advertising.

The location of JLR Productions makes it easy because of its relaxed country-like atmosphere. Located right outside of Lincolnton, in a little place called "Pumpkin Center", the facility is just great for people who don't like the hustle and bustle of a crowded city.

Jeffrey Lynn Reid: the owner and operator of the studio, has been in the music business since 1973. Not only is he the engineer, but producer; where his knowledge and expertise really shine through. He is also an accomplished musician; playing several different instruments: guitar, keyboards, bass, and drums. Also, he is artist, who has written many songs including the regional hit "Myrtle Beach Days". 

As a singer, songwriter, producer and engineer, Jeff can help the one man songwriter in many ways. If he or she needs backing tracks and vocals, Jeff can provide every sound he needs thanks to the help of a large Midi Production Suite!

 As an engineer, Jeff attended "Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts, located in Orlando, Florida, which has won the TEC Award in 1989, 1990 and 1991, as the best recording school in the United States. He graduated "Full Sail" with honors including Salutatorian and the "Advanced Achievement Award which he tied for with another student, Ray Hamphelt, who worked at Prince's Paisley Park Studios. Also Jeff won a scholarship for outstanding grades. Jeff's promptness can also be counted on. He received an award for Perfect Attendance while at Full Sail. Also in his 15 years with The Fantastic Shakers he never missed a day.

If the company needs a "Voiceover", Jeff can provide that.
